Gwendolen Gray, President and Founder of G2B Consulting, Inc., a professional management consulting, business development, and marketing firm. Ms. Gray has a unique 30 years background providing financial and professional management services. she has gained a wide range of experience in program management, project, construction management, and compliance management; this includes project controls on capital, rail, freight rail, highway and roads. Ms. Gray has been responsible for multi-million dollar transportation projects and provides a unique perspective to both private and public sector in the transportation industry.
Prior to starting her firm, Ms. Gray served as Project Controls Program Management Consultant for Hill International’s Program Management and Highway Group. In her role to oversee public infrastructure projects (i.e. LA Metro Measure R projects, Los Angeles County and Orange County’s surrounding region, etc.) Prior to that, she served as Project Controls Engineer for AECOM in Philadelphia, PA and Orange, CA. Ms. Gray was directly responsible for conducting cost and budget control, project scheduling, financial analysis, cost forecasts and served as the deputy project manager. Ms. Gray took great pride in demonstrating her expertise of the field.
Ms. Gray also, has years of professional experience working with small business enterprise (SBE), disadvantage business enterprise (DBE), and disadvantage veteran businesses enterprise (DVBE). Provided guidance and technical direction to ensure compliance, business development enhance communication, create open dialogues with prime consultant; establish goals and develop strategies. Ensure (SBE) and (DBE) participate in all levels of contracting opportunities, provide monitoring, tracking, and reporting, and issue recommendations concerning allegations of illegal, unethical, discriminatory or improper conduct. Risk management to ensure contractual compliance obligations are met.
Gwendolen currently serves on the COMTO National Board and HUB Sub-Committee Co-Chair. Gwendolen Gray has been a transportation advocate for many years. She understands that public transportation plays a significant role in finding solutions to the numerous challenges facing America today, whether it’s more jobs, a cleaner environment, energy independence or a better quality of life.
Gwendolen enjoys having the opportunity in reaching out to high school and college students on various transportation career days and talking with the students about their careers path. She continually shares internship and job opportunities relative to the transportation industry as the students prepare for college is a wonderful and amazing experience. Ms. Gray holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organization Management and a minor in Accounting from Cabrini University.
