Janayre Betrtrand

Janayre Bertrand is a Manager of Transportation Operations at Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority, where she oversees the daily activities of a bus operating division, including 16 fixed bus routes and 400 operators.

Janayre has worked in the transportation industry for 20+ years including as a Transportation Operations Supervisor for LA Metro and Long Beach Transit. Since joining COMTO in 2019, she has demonstrated commitment to ensuring access to opportunities for people of color. As the current treasurer and Executive Board member, Janayre does not take this responsibility lightly. She ensures all financial records are accurate, audited, and reported to the national office.
