Join COMTO SoCal, Los Angeles World Airports, and Los Angeles Metro for an exciting behind-the-scenes tour of the Airport Metro Connector Transit Station (AMC) and the LAX Automated People Mover (APM)! Discover the future of transportation as we explore this cutting-edge project in Los Angeles, CA.
Located at Aviation Blvd/96th Street, this in-person event offers a unique opportunity to witness the development of this state-of-the-art transit system firsthand.
The APM is a 2.25-mile elevated guideway train system that will deliver passengers between LAX and the Airport Metro Connector Station, the Intermodal Transportation Facility-West, and a new Consolidated Rent-A-Car Facility. AMC is the ninth station along the K (Crenshaw/LAX) Line and will connect directly with the APM. The AMC station includes a platform to access Metro light rail trains, bike hub, and an expansive 16-bay bus plaza that will serve Metro and other municipal bus operators including Santa Monica Big Blue Bus, Culver City Bus, Torrance Transit, GTrans (Gardena) and Beach Cities Transit.

Safety vests will be provided.
The tour will take place in an active construction zone, including loud noise, uneven ground, mechanical equipment, and dust.
Participants will be standing/walking for 2 hours.
